I think your window display of WW1 is incredibly sensitive and very respectful.
I saw your window display, the other evening as I was walking past, and thought I should come in to tell you that I think is incredibly sensitive, and very respectful. My father fought in the first World War, after he joined the army on 7th August 1914. He was one of the lucky ones and did survive, although he was injured, though not too badly. I used to sing in the choir at the local church, and always saw a lady sit at the back of the church on her own, looking very sad and lonely, and never spoke to anyone. I asked the priest one day who she was. He told me that her husband was killed in the First World War, then her 2 son were both killed during the 2nd World War. This reminded me how terrible it must have been for these poor families.
