We were really pleased to see Jim (Middleton) on the day of the funeral, as he and his colleague were absolutely wonderful when they collected dad after he died at home, with us all with him. They were so kind, patient and respectful. We asked what door should they use to take dad out from, and Jim said the front door, as that was the one he came through when he arrived. We also thought the rose was a lovely gesture, that they laid on dad as they carried him out from home.
