Everything went very well and Robert Lodge was so kind and very thoughtful to all of us. A very emotional day but also a lovely do for Mum which was very cheery. The wooden cross looks lovely, thank you.
I can’t tell you how much the family appreciate how much you and Robert have done for us. We have never experienced this with with Frederick Paine, who we used many years ago before Lodge Brothers arrived in the village. Now I would have no hesitation in recommending you.
My relatives from Cumbria thought the whole funeral was lovely. They told me that where they are, the deceased is always wheeled into the church on a sort trolly with the pall bearers walking alongside. Your gents carried Mum. They also said that, up there, nobody walks in front of the hearse, unlike Robert who led the procession. They thought this was beautiful and very respectful. They were very impressed with everything.
