Dear Keith, I would like to thank you most sincerely for the time you took out of your busy schedule last Wednesday to talk to Anne and me. You gave us a very thorough understanding of your work and the relationship between Funeral Directors and Clergy, and this was really helpful. I also very much valued the behind-the-scenes visit of your premises and at the Crematorium, which answered many questions and removed many fears. I don’t know if the people we met on Wednesday are people of faith; be that as it may, what was striking was the care and respect which you all showed to God’s people in their last moments among us. I am now much better equipped to deal with my first grieving family and funeral, and am most grateful to you.
