The whole family are delighted with the memorial, we think it is beautiful. Thank you to everyone concerned, although it took us so long to choose and agree on, it was the right choice.
Everyone was very happy with the memorial, and particularly with the texture of the stone, to the eye but also the touch. Once again, many thanks for all the care you have taken with this commission, and for managing to do it so well to time.
Chris,
On behalf of our family especially my mum, a big thank you for making our father’s headstone so beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes just looking at it. Mum and myself decided upon the design but did not expect the headstone to look this spectacular. This is what you call excellent craftsmanship.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts having the headstone ready on the week of my mum’s birthday, also my dad’s birthday on 5th December and in time for Christmas as promised. God Bless.
Jane,
I visited the cemetery today and was very pleased with the cleaning and work done to repair all the lettering on my parents’ gravestone.
Thank you for your attention.
Dear Chris,
Thanks ever so much for all your help and investment on the Garden of Remembrance. We are all very pleased with it and the service of dedication went very well (better than planned – it didn’t rain!). Thanks so much.
We have also been surprised by the number of people that have asked for the remains of their departed love ones to be buried there. We have 5 already!
This will play a very important pastoral role for our community. Please note that we are also willing to have this available to anyone who has a Qualifying Connection with our Parish.
Thanks ever so much and please do extend this to everyone at Lodge Brothers on our behalf.
Dear Suzette,
I conducted the funeral service for the Late EH at Breakspear on Monday in the East Chapel. I am just writing to commend Paul who was the Conductor on the day, not only for his professionalism but for the way in which he showed compassion to the mourners who came to pay respect to their neighbour. He made a point of commending them for what they had done for their friend and neighbour who had no family of her own to mourn her. It was a very poignant moment, one which they appreciated and were touched to receive, and one may I say you cannot train for – you either have that level of compassion or you don’t. It was a pleasure to work alongside him. Would you please be kind enough to pass on my gratitude.
I’d like to thank you for your excellent service. The process has been clear and organised, the stone is lovely, and the masons in the churchyard were kind and sensitive. My husband, who dealt often with Lodge Brothers when he was a curate in Feltham in the 1960’s, would have been delighted to know that you were providing his memorial stone. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sending confirmation of the completed works on my father’s grave along with the photograph. I am extremely grateful for the prompt and anxiety-free manner which has characterised my dealings with you especially from such a distance as Australia.
With much appreciation.
The team have done an amazing job and we were very pleasantly surprised, especially when you consider the age of the memorial. We are delighted. Thank you very much.
Chris,
Thank you again for your company’s good work with the Kate Marsden monument. This was achieved through your company’s swift, proficient service; and also through your very patient cooperation with us while we were figuring things out and putting things together under the pressure of time. Much appreciated.
I will be sending the Lodge Brothers a copy of Kate Marsden’s book as a further expression of our gratitude to you.
