Winton House Staff Attend Seminar at Lodge Brothers Windsor

Beverley Lodge presents certificates to two members of staff

Staff from Winton House Care Home recently attended two seminars at Lodge Brothers Windsor to learn about the Role of the Funeral Director.

Staff were also given a tour of the branch and then enjoyed refreshments which were provided by the Funeral Arranger Jill Palmer.

Bill Wilde (District Manager) who led the sessions said, “The seminars are offered to all care homes in the area and are provided free of charge to the staff that attend. The feedback has been very good, and I am pleased that we are able to share our knowledge, which in turn can assist them when dealing with their residents. While the Role of the Funeral Director is a serious subject, the seminars are designed to be interactive and we actively encouraged attendees to ask anything they would like to know about the Funeral business. I enjoy taking an active role in the community and these seminars are a way of offering support and advice to our nursing and residential homes.”
