Vintage Truck Hearse for Ruislip Funeral

Lodge Brothers in Ruislip recently arranged a funeral for a gentleman who loved music and having a beer – his family said that he had always wanted to be put in a cardboard box, and thrown on a lorry – a no fuss funeral! So they made sure he got his wish, by selecting an eco-friendly cardboard coffin, and using a vintage truck hearse to take him to the crematorium. It was a Bedford 1951 drop side lorry, and looked incredible gleaming outside the branch. On the back of the truck, his guitar and a couple of bottles of his favourite beer travelled with him on his final journey.
