Teddington Memorial Hospital Marks 70yrs of League of Friends
On Tuesday, District Manager’s Nicola and Victoria, attended a gathering at Teddington Memorial Hospital to mark 70 truly inspiring years of their League of Friends partnership.
Teddington hospital not only provides one of the most valuable walk-in clinics locally but a variety of community health based services.
The league of friends has raised a staggering £8million over the years with funds providing equipment, assistance and hospital rooms and gardens.
How wonderful to know that a small group of people can make attending hospital welcoming, cheerful and easy. Their work is appreciated by all who use them.
This year their goal is to raise £70k which will, amongst other projects, help fund a beautiful and relaxing garden in the hospital grounds.
