Sponsorship support for local Bowls Clubs

Local family owned funeral directors Lodge Brothers are once again sponsoring five major bowls tournaments being held at local bowls clubs.

The sponsorship programme begins to roll our on Sunday 19th July with the Ashford Presidents Open Day, a one day Mens Open Invitation tournament at Ashford Bowls Club.

The second event is the Lodge Open Triples at Weybridge Bowls Club on Sunday 26th July. This annual Open tournament always attracts a large number of bowlers from all over the county.

The local funeral directors are also sponsoring two important Middlesex County events being held at Ashford Bowls Club. On Wednesday 29th July the Mens County team play Somerset and this is followed by the Ladies County Finals Day on Tuesday 25th August, one of the highlights of the County Bowls calendar.

The fifth and final event is the very popular Chertsey Open Invitation which, this year, is being played on Monday 31st August. This one day Open Invitation was rained off last year and Chertsey Bowls Club will be hoping that changing the date till later in the year will bring them better weather.
