Remembering Our Fathers on Fathers’ Day

Carol at Molesey branch has created a wonderful Fathers Day display in the window.

“The unread book, the crossword yet to be done, the unfinished beer.  Perhaps this view of fathers is a little old-fashioned today but this is how I like to think of my dad; now able to sit in a deck chair with his hat and a glass of beer, relaxing in gentle sunlight and having the time to finish that book and to add some more answers to the crossword.”
