Molesey Branch Commemorates St George’s Day

23 April is St George’s Day, the day of England’s patron saint. Legend has it that he slayed a dragon, although where he found one here in England remains a mystery (although it’s worth noting that he’s also patron saint of Catalonia, Ethiopia and various other regions worldwide).
