Maryville Care Home Summer Garden Party

The unusually persistent summer rain tried to put a dampener on The Maryville Care Home Summer Garden Party last Sunday 23rd August 2015. But event sponsors Lodge Brothers & Wickenden of Brentford, were determined not to let the weather ruin the day, and moved the party inside!

The annual party was arranged to entertain the residents and their families and this year the guests enjoyed Irish dancing, Barbeque with food donated by Lodge Brothers, homemade cakes and sweets for the children!

Funeral Arranger, Val Perkins, who helped organise the event, said “It is very pleasing to be able to give back to the community we serve, we have worked closely with Maryville Care Home & Convent for many years, and it is great to see everyone having such fun.”
