Lodge Brothers Woking Mark The 75th D-Day Anniversary.

The Queen has paid tribute to the “heroism, courage and sacrifice” of those who died in the D-Day landings.
We remember the two million troops from more than 12 countries who were in Britain preparing for the invasion on 6th June 1944 and the countless men and woman who gave their lives for our freedom.
A French poster sums it up well: ‘All Together for a Single Victory’. In our branch window we have displayed simply and hopefully poignantly memorial items to mark the D-Day anniversary, 75 years on.
