Plant Hunters & Pioneers Celebrating Feltham’s Gardening Past & Present
On Saturday 29thJune, Debbie attended the Feltham In Bloom Awards Event at Christ Church. Feltham branch donated a £50.00 Adrian Hall garden centre voucher, which was given as first prize. This was gratefully received and presented by the Mayor.
There was an exhibition of Feltham’s horticultural heritage and a presentation by renowned expert Cradoc Doy from Exeter, about Sir Harry Veitch and the Veitch family. Local experts David Lawrie and Angela Patron also gave a speech and responded to questions.
