Lodge Brothers Conduct Funeral of t/l Ellen White at St Ignatius of Loyola, Sunbury

On Friday 19th July, Lodge Brothers conducted the funeral of the late Ellen White, Matron of Sunbury Nursing Homes for over 46 years, who died peacefully at St Peters Hospital Chertsey on Sunday 7th July 2013, at the age of 88.

The funeral mass was held by Father Robert Hamilton at St Ignatius of Loyola RC Church in Sunbury.

Family and friends had travelled from all over Ireland for the service, resulting in a cortege of 10 Limousines.

Ellen, known to her family as Lil, was loving wife of the late Edmund (Ted) White, devoted mother of John, Joan, Norma & Christopher and proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren.

She was a wonderful lady, loved by all, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends in Kilnamartyra, Ballingeary & Cork.
