Grave Talk at All Saints Sunday 10th February
Parishioners of All Saints Church attended a Grave Talk event on Sunday 10th February, which was a huge success. Grave Talk is an informal opportunity to talk about funerals, death and dying in a café environment.
The event proved popular with those who attended, after enjoying tea, cake and conversation Paul Bye Surrey Commercial & Operations manager for Lodge Brothers gave a talk on funeral planning and the role of the funeral director.
Rev Pippa Ford the curate at All Saints commented, “We really appreciate that Paul had given up his Sunday to help make this Grave Talk a success, everyone had an enjoyable afternoon and had an opportunity to ask questions on a topic that normally gets ignored, I really like that Lodge Brothers offer a service to record someone’s funeral wishes, that way families are not burdened with arranging a funeral in the dark, and it ensures that the arrangements really reflect that person’s life.”
