Family Servicemen Remembered at Cobham Branch

This year Claire, our funeral arranger at Cobham branch, has dedicated the Remembrance Poppy Appeal window display to some of her family members who served in the First World War

These were her Great Uncle William Keefe, who was killed in action in Belgium in 1916 aged 26 and the Fordham Brothers – All 5 Brothers Alfred, Frank, Lionel, Ralph and Eric, the youngest, who was also killed in action in France 34 days before the end of the war and aged 19. Their sisters also played a very important part as they all became nurses.
