Church of England Curates Attend Training on the Funeral Process with Lodge Brothers & Wickenden

Paul Bye, District Manager of Lodge Brothers & Wickenden Brentford and Ealing, was recently approached by the Church of England with a request to provide a training programme for their Curates. He was pleased to be able to offer a session to seven curates from all across London, training them on the role of the Funeral Director and the world of Funerals.
After a presentation, Paul chauffeured his guests in a company limousine to Mortlake Crematorium for an ‘access all areas’ tour, enabling the curates to fully understand the funeral process, from branch to chapel.
The aim of the project was to strengthen the bond with the Church and to help the next generation of Priests understand the ever-evolving world of funerals, prior to conducting services themselves.
The feedback was very positive and all involved appreciated the time and effort put in by Lodge Brothers and Wickenden.
