Christmas Tree Blessing Ceremony at Burpham Branch

Lodge Brothers in Burpham recently invited bereaved families to an intimate Christmas Tree blessing ceremony held at the recently opened branch just outside Guildford.

Following a short service and blessing from Rev Jo Levasier of St Lukes Church, Burpham, families were given the opportunity to hang a message to their loved one on the special memory tree, then the lights were switched on and will stay lit through the Christmas period as a mark of remembrance for Burpham’s lost loved ones.

Afterwards, tea, coffee and cake were served and some more memories were shared, and as the guests left they thanked Donna Matthews the branch arranger for arranging this lovely act of remembrance.
