Christmas Service of Remembrance Brings Comfort and Connection to Byfleet
On the evening of Wednesday, 4th December, Lodge Brothers hosted a moving Christmas Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving at Byfleet Village Hall. This annual event provided an opportunity for families and individuals to come together and honour the memories of their loved ones during the festive season.
Led by Father Aaron Spinelli, the service welcomed 75 attendees. The evening included a heartfelt musical accompaniment by the renowned Epsom and Ewell Silver Brass Band, whose carols and melodies filled the hall with warmth and reflection.
A highlight of the evening was the Lighting of the Remembrance Candles, a moment of quiet reflection that offered comfort and connection to all present. Attendees were also gifted a special Heart Memory Pin, a keepsake designed to provide solace during the holiday season.
In keeping with Lodge Brothers’ commitment to supporting local communities, donations were collected for the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, a vital local charity offering compassionate end-of-life care.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Father Aaron Spinelli, the Epsom and Ewell Silver Brass Band, and everyone who joined us for this special occasion.
