Carol Service of Remembrance

We held our annual Carol Service of Remembrance this year on Saturday 24th November, once again at the United Reformed Church in Guildford. The service was well attended despite the atrocious weather and carols were sung to the accompaniment of The Almac Bisley Brass Band. Rev’d. Phillip Jones, Rev’d. Barbara Messham and Fr. Alex Hill led us through readings and prayers followed by the opportunity of lighting a candle in memory of those who had died. After the service all were welcomed into the hall for refreshments before venturing out again into the gale force winds.
Anyone who has suffered bereavement is welcome to attend this service and details of next year’s one will be posted on our website in due course.
