Woking Churches for Woking Hospice Sponsored Walk

On Sunday 8th October 2017, representatives from the Churches in Woking took part in a 3 mile walk to raise funds for Woking Hospice. Susan from Lodge Brothers Woking Branch took part in the sponsored walk around Goldsworth Park Lake. Peter Harwood (Area Dean) said: “Woking Churches wanted to get behind and support our new hospice in Goldsworth Park. It is now open and they are delighted to welcome patients and relatives to the wonderful new state-of-the-art facility. We have so far raised £22,392.00. Whilst that is very far short of £200k, it is significantly more than nothing! The hospice is very grateful and are asking when we will do it again!”
