Horse Drawn Hearse From Sunningdale Branch

Lodge Brothers in Sunningdale recently held its first funeral with a horse-drawn hearse. The branch, which has been open for just over a year, is staffed by arranger and local resident, Dawn Hazelton, and the sight of the magnificent black horses pulling a white carriage caused quite a stir in the village. District Manager Richard Leachman, who conducted the funeral, reminds us however that, “although the sight was truly amazing, behind every hearse we see on our roads, is a story which invariably involves sadness and tears. We must always remember that”.
