Dear Melanie,
Thank you so very much for absolutely everything. You have been so caring and thoughtful throughout our time shared making arrangements. Your idea to FaceTime when Dad he visited Mum in the Chapel of Rest gave immense comfort to us all and brought us together at a difficult time, even though in different countries. Thank you for all you have done, we are beyond grateful for how you have helped and dealt with everything. Even your arrangement and placement of the paper flowers I had sent gave me warmth.
We all feel at peace now. It’s all over and we know that she had a good send off, even if it was disjointed and slightly abnormal! Mum would have found the quirkiness of it hilarious!
I know you say ‘it’s what we are here for’ but you really made it all the better with your own personal attention in these very difficult times.
