The Memory Cafe at The Crown Northolt
Every Tuesday at The Crown Pub, opposite St. Mary’s Church in Northolt, The Memory Café is held as a meeting place for local residents who may have memory issues or are just in need of some company.
The pub lends its premises for free and the Café is run by Church Volunteers. There are quizzes and gentle exercises that can be done from your chair. It was a lovely party with lots of people attending, including the Bishop of Willesden and the Mayor. There was a lovely buffet and a big cake! We have a good relationship with St Mary’s Church and the Reverend Chris Hill. Several of our Funeral Services have taken place in the Church and local residents who have passed away have had their Ashes interred in the Churchyard. The Crown is also a very popular venue for our clients’ families to hold their funeral receptions.
